About The Position

The Visual Lead is responsible for achieving store sales and maximizing profitability through visual merchandising in partnership with the Management Team. The role works closely with Operations and Visual Managers to initiate and delegate work and provide feedback to the team, supporting effective store operations. Duties involve constant movement throughout the store, including the sales floor and back of house. When not assisting guests, the Visual Lead takes initiative on tasks that help keep the store clean, safe, inviting, and operating efficiently.

The position combines visual merchandising and operational execution with business, people, and flow leadership. The Visual Lead supports reporting, budgets, inventory, supplies, facilities, team development, and store opening and closing, while using business metrics and company tools to help drive performance and meet goals.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of prior work experience in a client-centric sales environment.
• Proven leadership capabilities and excellent decision-making.

• Full-time employees are expected to be available for opening, closing, and weekend shifts, which may change based on business needs.
• Employees are expected to be able to work from the week of and including Black Friday until the end of the holiday season, in the first week of January.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational functions including shipment, receiving and processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intra-day replenishment, floor-set updates, and supply management.
• Maintain strategic product presentation and merchandising through product recovery, restocking, destocking, and visual merchandising changes in accordance with directives and in partnership with the Visual Manager.
• Plan visual floor changes with the management team, managing payroll and adapting zones and visual support to business needs.
• Execute and maintain visual direction from planning through completion, meeting company expectations, budgets, and timelines.
• Use reporting tools with management to identify business opportunities in product placement, outfitting, and stock levels, and make changes as needed.
• Partner with Operations and Visual Managers on reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities.
• Use business metrics to support strategies that drive business results.
• Assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests while moving dynamically on the retail floor.
• Lead by example and inspire staff in daily operations, guest experience, and visual standards.
• Partner with management to coach, guide, and direct Associates, and support recruitment and talent development.
• Use company performance tools to evaluate Associates and provide ongoing feedback to drive individual growth and improvement in partnership with the store leader.
• Collaborate with the Operations Lead on cross-functional training and with the Sales & Service Lead to ensure the business is well executed.
• Execute company-level operations-focused directives, projects, and initiatives in partnership with the leadership team to achieve goals and KPIs.
• Open and close the store in accordance with visual standards.
