About The Position

The Visual Associate supports the visual presentation and readiness of the selling floor at Neiman Marcus. The role helps execute promotional and sale presentations, signage, and event setups, and assists with merchandise replenishment. The Visual Associate follows direction from the Visual Manager and Corporate Visual team and contributes to a fast-paced retail environment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of visual team experience in a major multi-level department store.
• A portfolio of previously created projects.
• Ability to use carpentry tools safely and efficiently.
• Experience with painting techniques.
• Experience with basic production and knowledge of materials.
• Experience with styling and fashion pulls.
• Strong knowledge of current fashion and art trends.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the selling floor before store opening, demonstrating initiative and urgency.
• Follow directives and corporate guidelines from the Visual Manager and Corporate Visual team.
• Execute promotional and sale setups, including presentation, lettering, and sales-floor signage.
• Assist the Sales Support Team with trunk shows and personal appearance setups and preparation.
• Assist with replenishing merchandise on the selling floor and in wall units.
• Handle ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
