About The Position

The Richard J. Bolte, Sr. School of Business at Mount St. Mary’s University invites applications for a full-time Visiting Professor of Marketing position beginning August 2027. This is a one-year position with the possibility of one-year renewals. We seek to build an inclusive faculty that can engage the interests of our student population. Requirements

Ph.D. or Graduate degree in Marketing or a related discipline.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence.

Responsibilities

Teach 24 credits (8 classes) between the Fall and Spring semesters, including a combination of undergraduate and graduate courses in finance.
Undergraduate courses are primarily delivered in person and offered during the day with some evening options, while graduate courses are delivered using on-line synchronous and asynchronous formats.
Serve as the primary contact for student recruitment and advising for the marketing concentration and minor.
Advise students majoring in the school's programs.
Develop course curriculum.
Participate in assessment.
Remain current in their discipline.
Perform other duties as assigned.
