About The Position

At Wings Credit Union, the Virtual Teller delivers real-time, face-to-face member service through interactive teller technology in a fast-paced, technology-enabled environment at the corporate campus in Apple Valley, Minnesota. When members request assistance at an ATM, the Virtual Teller assists with transactions, answers questions, and creates positive member interactions. The role combines traditional teller expertise with modern service delivery and requires confidence with technology, accuracy, and the ability to remain calm in a high-volume setting. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and every other Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Compensation is $20.50 per hour, with a 3% annual target bonus. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and bondability. Some college experience and relevant training, education, sales, cash-handling, credit-union, or banking experience are preferred or helpful as specified in the qualifications.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

Some college experience preferred.
At least 6 months of relevant training, education, and sales experience, or an equivalent combination, preferred.
At least 6 months of previous cash-handling and credit-union or banking experience is helpful and preferred.
Awareness of competition.

Responsibilities

Deliver quality service through multiple channels, process transaction requests, provide rate information, and handle account inquiries.
Provide exceptional, professional, and consistent service using Personal Teller Machine technology.
Identify members’ financial needs and cross-sell appropriate products and services.
Accurately process transactions and recognize potential fraud and scams.
Communicate respectfully, courteously, and considerately with members and co-workers, maintaining a professional image.
Participate regularly in continued training, including self-study and mandatory training programs sponsored by applicable banking regulatory agencies.
Follow Wings policies and procedures and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.
