About The Position

As a Virtual Teller at Premier Credit Union, you will provide members who bank through technology with the same warm, accurate, personal service they receive at a branch. You will serve members through interactive teller machines (ITMs), video, phone, chat, email, and text, and apply your knowledge of credit union products and services to deliver effective, efficient, and professional service. The position is based at one of two listed locations in Urbandale or Ankeny, Iowa. Hybrid work may be available after training with manager approval. The schedule is Monday through Friday during daytime hours, plus every other Saturday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Requirements

Customer service experience.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Credit union or banking experience.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

Assist members with deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and other transactions through ITMs, video, phone, chat, email, and text.
Teach members how to use Interactive Teller Machines and become an expert in virtual delivery channels.
Answer questions about credit union products and services, including loans, and recommend solutions suited to members' financial needs.
Build lasting member relationships through ongoing service and follow-up.
Research and resolve member inquiries with limited supervision, partnering with teammates when needed.
Balance daily transactions accurately.
Follow security procedures, regulatory requirements, and confidentiality standards.
Assist with other operational tasks as needed.
