About The Position

Fullmind is seeking a Virtual ASL Educator to teach 8th-grade ASL. This is a fully remote, 1099 independent contractor position. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 12:35 PM to 1:38 PM EST, at $48 per hour; rates are negotiable and subject to change. The role is scheduled to start ASAP and continue through the end of the semester on December 18, 2026. The educator must hold Michigan state certification or be willing to seek Michigan reciprocity.

Fullmind partners with U.S. schools to provide access to education by live-streaming certified educators to students. Educators join a pool and can use the portal to select available openings that match their certification. Placement timing depends on available opportunities and completion of the application process. The position follows the school district's calendar and does not include benefits.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must currently hold an active, U.S. state-issued teaching certification; must be Michigan-certified or willing to seek Michigan reciprocity.
• At least 3 years of experience as a professional educator.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
• Participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration and submit to a background check as part of the application process.
