About The Position

Fullmind is seeking a certified educator to teach 8th-grade ASL virtually. Fullmind partners with U.S. schools to provide access to education by live-streaming certified educators to students. Educators deliver virtual instruction and guide students toward course completion.

This is a fully remote, 1099 independent contractor position that follows the school district's calendar. The educator will teach the school's curriculum on the district's virtual platform, develop aligned lesson plans, support student learning, and coordinate with the in-class facilitator. The posted schedule is Monday through Friday, 12:35 PM to 1:38 PM EST. The role is expected to start ASAP and continue through the end of the semester, December 18, 2026. The hourly rate is $48, negotiable and subject to change. The position does not include benefits.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Currently hold an active, U.S. state-issued teaching certification; Michigan state certification is required, or the educator must be willing to seek Michigan reciprocity.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator.
• Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Have a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
• Participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration and submit to a background check as part of the application process.
