About The Position
The VIP Representative coordinates and performs services for VIP guests, including booking and confirming hotel reservations, checking guests in and out, escorting guests and familiarizing them with their suites and rooms, assisting with concierge requests, and booking internal and external reservations. The role handles guest requests courteously and provides accurate information about casino and hotel facilities and services. It focuses on personalized service for known rated players and players who may be developed into high-end players. The position reports to the VIP Supervisor, Shift Manager, and Player Development Director. This is a full-time role with shifts scheduled 1:00 PM–9:30 PM Sunday, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM Monday and Tuesday, and 4:00 PM–1:00 AM Friday and Saturday, with Wednesday and Thursday off. The stated pay rate is $17.00 per hour. Weekly Earned Wage Access is available as an option.
Requirements
- Must enjoy working with guests from all walks of life.
- At least 1 year of prior experience with events, giveaways, or similar activities.
Nice To Haves
- Past casino experience in a guest-relations position is considered.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized services to guests, focusing on known rated players and players who can be developed into high-end players.
- Answer customer inquiries respectfully and courteously, and direct calls to appropriate casino personnel and departments.
- Answer phones and greet guests to foster positive and lasting relationships.
- Assist Casino Hosts and Management with hotel guest reservations and registration, hotel check-out, and concierge services and requests.
- Promote integrity and a high standard of guest service and respect toward guests and team members.
- Enter guest information into the database.
- Issue comps to guests in accordance with Choctaw Casino policy.
- Inform guests about current and upcoming special events, promotions, and casino activities.
- Resolve problems or perceived inconveniences to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Book and confirm hotel reservations, check guests in and out, escort guests and familiarize them with their accommodations, assist with concierge requests, and book internal and external reservations.
