About The Position

This position provides professional VIP services to guests and creates an environment for outstanding, personalized guest service. The VIP Representative assists Player Development hosts with guest functions, including hotel stays, transportation needs, complimentary issuance, and special-event reservations. The role requires a professional yet friendly attitude, exceptional service to VIP guests, and demonstration of the GILA WAY.

The position also supports management and casino hosts with reservations and helps oversee day-to-day operations. The representative responds to guest needs and concerns promptly and professionally while following enterprise guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Direct guest-service experience.
• Ability to be creative, friendly, and knowledgeable about the Gila River Indian Community.
• Ability to perform duties with a high degree of integrity and confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of guest privacy and company integrity.
• Ability to work varied hours and weekends.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and agree to maintain a Drug-Free Workplace as a condition of employment.
• Must pass a full background check to be certified/licensed prior to employment.
• Must be able to work in a smoking environment.

Nice To Haves

• VIP services, front desk, guest relations, or concierge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote and provide excellent guest service experiences to internal and external guests.
• Assist management and casino hosts with making and confirming reservations for guest events, hotels, restaurants, golf, and spa services.
• Assist in overseeing day-to-day operations.
• Answer phones in an orderly and timely manner while maintaining the service level.
• Listen to guests’ needs and resolve requests and disputes quickly and professionally within enterprise guidelines to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Meet assigned goals and objectives established by management to help meet projected targets.
• Perform other special projects and duties as assigned.
• Assist Player Development hosts with guest functions, including hotel stays, transportation needs, complimentary issuance, and special-event reservations.
