About The Position

The Barista is responsible for guest engagement and the overall quality and satisfaction of the coffee shop. The role models and acts according to the Starbucks guiding principle, when applicable to the venue, and the Choctaw Casino & Resort mission statement. The position reports to the Venue Manager. The Barista takes and fulfills orders correctly and promptly, promotes Choctaw Culture and the Starbucks mission, follows the cash handling audit policy, and maintains all Barista steps of service. The role includes attending Starbucks training and department meetings, providing excellent guest satisfaction, maintaining cleanliness and a safe, hazard-free work environment, and promptly informing management of product shortages, equipment failures, or staffing issues. Other responsibilities may be assigned. The position pays $15.00 per hour and is part-time. Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option.

Requirements

ServeSafe Certification.
Ability to handle cash and other tender methods and make change.
Knowledge of drink recipes, beverage preparation, and how each machine functions, if applicable to the venue.
Must be 21 years of age or older, if applicable to the venue.
ABLE Certification.

Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
