About The Position

As a Barista, you prepare coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and procedures, maintaining consistent quality and presentation. You help ensure smooth daily operations by keeping the work area clean, safe, and organized; restocking supplies; and preparing equipment and service areas for continued use. You work with team members to maintain an efficient workflow, including during busy periods.

The role also involves greeting customers, taking orders, answering questions, and responding to requests to help create a positive customer experience. Work may take place in a fast-paced environment with changing service demands and varying temperatures. Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to provide friendly, timely, and helpful customer service and follow up on customer requests and questions.
• Familiarity with preparing coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and related products using established methods.
• Ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple orders, and maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
• Familiarity with safe food and beverage handling, sanitation practices, and safety guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing service demands.
• Ability to safely operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment according to established guidelines.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds, and work in varying temperature environments.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
