About The Position

The Vice President, Product Analyst is an integral member of the POM Product Management function. Embedded in a product pod, the analyst conducts detailed business, system, and process analysis within a defined product or capability area. The role partners closely with Product Owners and supports Product Managers to translate product intent, regulatory needs, and operational requirements into clear, testable analysis and backlog-ready stories. It is accountable for improving story quality, reducing ambiguity and rework, and supporting audit- and operations-ready delivery. The position requires payments-processing domain expertise, knowledge of regulatory standards including ISO 20022, and strong analytical capabilities to support business transformation. The analyst elicits and documents functional and non-functional requirements; creates process, journey, decision, mapping, and traceability artifacts; supports backlog refinement, testing, UAT, and defect triage; and maintains regulatory and audit traceability through release. The role also supports launch and BAU handover through process updates, procedures, RACI updates, and training materials. The role provides expertise in SWIFT, ISO 20022 payment messages, financial market infrastructures, instant payments, and payment lifecycle flows. It works across Product, Technology, Operations, and Client Services, supports Agile delivery, analyzes and validates payment data, troubleshoots production issues, and contributes to compliance, operational-risk reduction, stronger controls, and improved straight-through processing.
