About The Position

SmartRent’s senior marketing executive owns the company’s full marketing strategy, including brand, narrative, digital, demand generation, product marketing, and the teams and partners responsible for bringing it to market. The role defines how SmartRent presents itself to customers, partners, and the multifamily industry, and is accountable for marketing’s contribution to pipeline, bookings, and revenue growth. The position calls for an executive-minded builder who can elevate a brand and modernize its digital presence while working with the rigor expected of a public company. The leader sets the vision, makes investment decisions, and partners with the CEO, CRO, and executive team. The role inherits a core team and agency partners, and can shape and grow the organization as results justify it. The Vice President reports to the Chief Revenue Officer, serves on the extended leadership team, and is based in the Phoenix metro area, which is preferred. The position spans brand and market narrative; website strategy and digital experience; full-funnel and account-based demand generation; product positioning and go-to-market; customer, industry, and field marketing; marketing technology, analytics, and AI; and marketing leadership, budgeting, and team development.
