Vice President, Identity Verification Growth (US)

Entrust•Minneapolis, MN
•$230,547 - $338,136

About The Position

Entrust is seeking a senior business leader to own the growth agenda for Identity Verification (IDV) in the United States. The role is accountable for the U.S. IDV growth plan and its performance, including decisions about where to compete, investment priorities, and execution across new customers, existing-customer expansion, and partners. The Vice President serves on the cross-functional Identity portfolio leadership team with Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and Revenue Operations leaders. The position develops a quantified U.S. growth plan, identifies priority markets and use cases, and establishes targets, milestones, and business cases. It applies customer and market evidence to product-market fit, competitive positioning, product requirements, and go-to-market decisions. The leader aligns cross-functional teams around funded priorities and measurable outcomes, supports strategic customer opportunities, removes execution barriers, and reports progress and gaps to senior leadership. Success is measured through qualified pipeline, bookings, revenue, conversion and win rates, sales-cycle length, adoption and retention, partner-sourced or partner-influenced results, product-market-fit milestones, and return on go-to-market investment.

Requirements

  • Senior leadership experience owning growth for a B2B technology business, product line, or market, with measurable commercial results.
  • Experience in identity verification, fraud, digital identity, cybersecurity, risk, or adjacent software markets.
  • Strong understanding of complex enterprise buying and regulated use cases.
  • Demonstrated ability to make market and portfolio choices, develop investment cases, and translate customer evidence into product and go-to-market priorities.
  • Experience leading through a matrix across Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations, including resolving conflicting priorities or incentives.
  • Command of commercial metrics, including pipeline quality, conversion, win/loss, bookings, revenue, and unit economics.
  • Ability to explain business performance and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Clear, direct communication and sound judgment under ambiguity.
  • Willingness to engage personally with customers and field teams.
  • Track record of turning plans into delivered work and business results.

Nice To Haves

  • Successful turnaround or growth acceleration experience.
  • Experience with U.S. identity verification buyers and competitors.
  • Experience expanding within large enterprise accounts.
  • Experience building scalable partner or embedded distribution models.

Responsibilities

  • Select priority segments, verticals, buyers, and accounts, and explicitly determine which opportunities to prioritize or deprioritize.
  • Set targets and leading indicators with Finance and Revenue Operations; use a regular business cadence to turn pipeline, conversion, win/loss, bookings, and customer data into decisions and corrective action.
  • Own the integrated U.S. growth roadmap and business cases for resources, partnerships, and capabilities.
  • Engage customers, prospects, sellers, and partners to understand buying criteria, unmet needs, implementation friction, and reasons for wins or losses.
  • Define U.S. market requirements for product capabilities, integrations, workflows, service experience, and proof points; partner with Product and Engineering to prioritize commitments based on commercial impact and delivery capacity.
  • Validate growth hypotheses with evidence and adjust positioning, offers, or product priorities as evidence changes.
  • Define high-propensity customer segments and repeatable acquisition plays, aligning Marketing, SDR, and Sales from demand creation through conversion.
  • Identify expansion opportunities, adoption barriers, and at-risk customer relationships; partner with Sales and Customer Success on measurable account expansion plans.
  • Select partner routes to market with a credible economic case, define joint offers and sales motions, and manage partner initiatives against pipeline and revenue outcomes.
  • Align Sales, Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations around funded priorities, named owners, deadlines, and measurable results.
  • Equip field teams with positioning, competitive guidance, industry plays, customer proof, and practical enablement; participate in strategic opportunities and executive customer discussions.
  • Remove barriers, resolve cross-functional tradeoffs, elevate decisions requiring executive intervention, and communicate progress and gaps candidly to senior leadership.
  • Lead a focused team and influence a broader matrix while building a culture of customer evidence, speed, ownership, and follow-through.
