Requirements

RVT or non-credentialed experienced Veterinary Assistant/Technician.
Compassionate, dedicated, and detail-oriented attitude.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to interact well with clients and their pets.
Availability to work weekdays or weekends.
Essential knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal anatomy.
Strong experience in animal care, including handling and kennel management.
Physical ability to stand for long periods, perform regular physical tasks, and safely lift 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Willing to be cross-trained for a CSR role.
Previous veterinary experience is preferred, but willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians with exams, procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and surgery.
Perform basic medical procedures such as placing IV catheters, blood draws, collecting lab samples, and dental scaling.
Administer medication and monitor patients.
Manage patient feeding and handling.
Process lab samples.
Perform or assist with digital radiography and ultrasound.
Greet visitors, answer calls, and schedule appointments.
Educate pet owners on preventative care and treatment plans.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all clinic areas.
Ensure accuracy of all patient records.
