About The Position

Central Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician or Licensed Veterinary Technician to join their compassionate team. The role involves supporting veterinarians, caring for patients, communicating with clients, and ensuring the efficient operation of the hospital. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of veterinary experience or be a graduate of a veterinary technician program, with surgical experience being a plus. Responsibilities

  • Supporting veterinarians during appointments, treatments, and procedures
  • Providing compassionate nursing care to patients
  • Assisting with diagnostic testing and sample collection
  • Preparing patients and treatment areas for procedures
  • Monitoring patients and communicating changes in their condition
  • Assisting with surgical procedures and patient monitoring
  • Administering medications and treatments as directed
  • Maintaining accurate medical records
