About The Position

Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital is hiring a full-time Veterinary Technician Liaison to join its Neurology Department in Woburn, Massachusetts. The role is suited to an experienced Veterinary Technician who wants to apply medical knowledge, client communication skills, and specialty medicine experience to care coordination. The liaison remains connected to patient care while supporting communication, education, and organization between the Neurology team and pet families. The role includes guiding clients through their pets’ care, providing updates about hospitalized patients, documenting communication in medical records, and helping coordinate treatment plans, prescriptions, and client education. The hospital is a Level 1 24-hour emergency, critical care, and specialty veterinary facility, with a 42,000-square-foot facility and advanced diagnostic and treatment resources. The position is full-time, with a choice between Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, or four 9-hour shifts that include one weekend shift. Compensation is listed as $21–$28 per hour in the heading and $24–$28 per hour, based on experience and skills, in the compensation section.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician.
Passion for client communication and education.
Strong organizational and collaboration skills.
Fluent English speaking and reading skills.

Neurology experience.
An associate or bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology, Biology, or Animal Science.
