About The Position

MedVet is a fast-growing emergency and specialty provider with practices nationwide. The Neurology Registered Veterinary Technician joins the clinical team and supports advanced veterinary care, including neurological treatments and procedures. The role involves varied cases and operating CT or MRI scans, with a strong focus on teamwork, compassion, and excellent patient care.

Requirements

Hold a state Registered Veterinary Technician license.
Have prior veterinary experience.
Be proficient in calculations, including drug calculations, constant rate infusions, and unit conversions.
Be flexible with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous neurology or radiology experience.

Responsibilities

Assist in surgical procedures.
Communicate with clients, schedule appointments, and provide education by phone and in person.
Manage appointments and obtain patient histories and updated information.
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
Assist with spinal and joint tap procedures.
Place IV catheters and perform venipuncture.
Run CT or MRI scans and assist with advanced neurological treatments and procedures.
