About The Position

SAGE Veterinary Centers is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician Learning & Development Specialist (TLDS) to plan, organize, and direct clinical training and professional development for Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants at SAGE Dublin. This is a hands-on clinical position: the specialist continues to work as a Veterinary Technician while assessing clinical skills, training and mentoring team members, supporting onboarding, and overseeing technician continuing education. The balance between clinical-floor work and training may vary with hiring levels, training needs, and hospital priorities. Hospital leadership determines the focus, which may change as needs evolve. The role includes delivering practical clinical instruction, coordinating onboarding and department-specific training, tracking learning and compliance requirements, and partnering with hospital, regional, and Ethos learning teams. The specialist also supports continuing education events for Ethos technicians and referring DVM teams. The position is full-time in Dublin, California, with a 4/10s schedule and flexibility to train across shifts and departments.
