Animal Health Care Clinic is seeking a part-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated team in Clearwater, Florida. Requirements
- At least one year of experience in the veterinary field
- Previous customer service experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Dependability and a strong work ethic
- Basic knowledge of preventive care and vaccinations
- Compassionate, professional communication with clients and teammates
- Strong computer skills; experience with Avimark is a plus
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
- Answer phones and schedule appointments efficiently
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and hospital team members
- Process payments and assist with client check-in and check-out
- Educate clients on preventive care, vaccines, and hospital services
- Support the daily workflow while providing exceptional customer service
- Help create a positive experience for every client who visits the hospital
