About The Position
Creekside Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Veterinary Receptionist (Client Care Specialist) for a part-time position. We are a two-doctor practice with a supportive team dedicated to outstanding patient care and client experience. We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Receptionist who enjoys helping people, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is passionate about making every client and patient feel welcome. As a Client Care Specialist, you will play an essential role in keeping the hospital organized, supporting the medical team, and helping clients feel informed and cared for throughout every visit.
Requirements
- Previous veterinary receptionist experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, professional attitude toward clients, patients, and coworkers
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and team-first mindset
- Willingness to take ownership of responsibilities and contribute to the hospital's success
- Passion for providing outstanding customer service and patient care
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
- Answer incoming calls and provide exceptional customer service
- Schedule appointments and manage the daily appointment calendar efficiently
- Check clients and patients in and out while maintaining accurate records
- Process payments and review invoices with clients
- Communicate with clients regarding appointments, reminders, and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate client and patient information
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming
- Collaborate with doctors, technicians, assistants, and fellow receptionists to support an efficient hospital workflow
- Provide calm, compassionate support during both routine and emotional visits
