About The Position

Fourmile Veterinary Clinic is seeking a full-time Practice Manager to provide leadership and structure to a team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff. The role calls for a solid understanding of the veterinary industry and experience overseeing clinic operations. The Practice Manager will lead with clarity, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to the clinic’s ongoing excellence and the well-being of the animals in its care. The position is full-time. The hospital operates Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, and is closed on weekends. The annual salary is $60,000–$65,000, based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications, with eligibility for an annual bonus. Fourmile Veterinary Clinic provides diagnostic and preventive services, digital radiography, and in-house labs, and offers large/farm animal care and pulmonary arterial pressure (PAP) testing. Requirements

Experience executing clinical HR functions, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), evaluations, and disciplinary action.
Ability to quickly learn and use the clinic’s practice management system.
Comfort working part-time on the floor, both in the back and up front.

Previous management experience in a veterinary setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day clinic operations, with a primary focus on personnel management, including hiring, training, and development.
Manage clinic operations, including scheduling and inventory management.
Guide and coach colleagues toward continuous improvement while maintaining a strong commitment to the client experience.
Balance the needs of the business and staff, demonstrating initiative.
