About The Position

Central Animal Hospital is seeking a motivated, reliable Veterinary Kennel Assistant to care for hospitalized and boarding patients and support the veterinary team behind the scenes. The role focuses on maintaining clean, sanitary, organized spaces and helping ensure patients are comfortable and well cared for. Hands-on training is provided, and prior veterinary experience is not required. The position is full-time, pays $18.00–$19.00 per hour, and follows a Monday–Friday schedule with weekends off.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect kennels, runs, and patient areas to maintain a safe and sanitary hospital.
• Handle cleaning that involves bodily fluids, including urine, stool, and blood.
• Keep supplies, storage, and work areas organized and well stocked.
• Help care for hospitalized and boarding patients, keeping them comfortable and clean.
• Support the veterinary team behind the scenes so the hospital runs smoothly.
• Assist wherever needed during busy days.
