About The Position

Big Creek Pet Hospital is hiring a part-time Pet Care Attendant to care for boarding pets and support a positive hospital culture. The role includes providing loving care to boarding guests, maintaining a clean and organized facility, and assisting hospital departments. The schedule is five days per week, either 8 a.m.–1 p.m. or 4 p.m.–7:30 p.m., with possible extra shifts. Compensation is flexible and reflects skill set and future performance. The position offers opportunities to develop animal handling, restraint, and communication skills while working with a team committed to high-quality pet and client care. Responsibilities

Provide care for boarding pets, including feeding, walking, and bathing.
Clean runs and maintain the cleanliness of the boarding facility.
Assist with paperwork preparation for incoming guests.
Support other hospital departments as needed.
Communicate professionally with pet parents and team members.
Safely and professionally restrain and hold patients.
Assist with toenail trims and baths.
Follow OSHA standards and perform tasks efficiently.
Promote a positive, team-oriented hospital culture.
