About The Position

Pet Medical Center of Pasco is hiring a full-time Pet Care and Dog Daycare Attendant. The role combines hands-on care for boarding pets with supervising daycare dogs, ensuring pets are safe, comfortable, engaged, and well cared for. Requirements

• At least 1 year of animal handling and care experience.
• Comfort handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• A team-player attitude that builds trust with staff and supervisors.
• Ability to stay calm and adaptable in a busy, noisy, high-energy environment.
• Availability for rotating weekends.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods and to lift and restrain animals of varying sizes.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, attentive care to boarding and daycare pets.
• Prepare meals and follow each pet’s feeding instructions.
• Administer medications as directed.
• Provide exercise, play, and enrichment for pets.
• Supervise dogs during daycare play groups and keep play safe and fun.
• Clean, sanitize, and prepare kennel spaces.
• Communicate pets’ needs, behavior, and concerns to teammates and supervisors.
