About The Position

PriorityPet Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Veterinarian to lead and own a new urgent care hospital in Avon, Indiana. The hospital provides after-hours walk-in care for urgent, non-life-threatening medical concerns, with convenient evening and weekend hours. The veterinarian will help create the hospital from the ground up, including selecting equipment, hiring the team, and establishing medical protocols, with full medical decision-making authority. The role includes leadership and Medical Director responsibilities, such as managing a team, building a positive clinic culture, and mentoring other veterinarians. A national support organization provides business, operational, and professional resources so the veterinarian can focus on patient care and leading the practice. Ownership is available with no out-of-pocket cash investment. Opportunities may also be available nationwide.

Requirements

Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent from an accredited university.
Active veterinary state license.
At least 3 years of veterinarian experience.
Current DEA License and USDA Accreditation, or obtain them upon hire.
Compassionate leadership ability and willingness to manage a team and promote a positive clinic culture aligned with Alliance Animal Health’s core values.
Effective communication skills and a drive to provide high-quality medicine and mentor other veterinarians.
