About The Position

Castle VW of Schaumburg is hiring a Vehicle Upgrade Coordinator to connect the service and sales departments by helping existing service customers consider upgrading to a newer vehicle. The coordinator engages customers, explains upgrade benefits, presents offers tailored to their needs, and passes qualified opportunities to sales consultants. Requirements

• Previous experience in automotive sales, customer service, and/or a dealership upgrade role.
• Strong understanding of automotive sales and service operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate between departments.
• Comfort with CRM software and dealership management systems.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers bringing their vehicles in for service and identify opportunities to discuss upgrading to a newer model.
• Build rapport and explain the benefits of upgrading, such as newer features, better financing, and trade-in equity.
• Present offers tailored to customers’ needs and dealership programs.
• Act as a liaison between service and sales, capturing upgrade leads from service customers and handing them off to sales consultants.
• Coordinate appointments and follow-ups, and communicate opportunities to the rest of the sales staff.
• Use the dealership’s CRM and data systems to track leads, schedule follow-ups, and manage customer information.
• Stay up to date on vehicle inventory, manufacturer incentives, and current sales specials.
