About The Position

This is an outside position with exposure to the weather elements in Michigan. Employees are eligible to receive personal, vacation time, and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave and parental leave. To be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear.
  • Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb.
  • Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance, and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship. No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future.

Responsibilities

  • Input accurate vehicle information for registration into the system using a handheld computer (zebra TC) for each vehicle received at the auction.
  • Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle received.
  • Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry.
  • associate and install OBDII tracking device.
  • Direct transporters to proper car drop zone.
  • Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
  • Work in cooperation with safety leadership in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
