Vehicle Buyback Specialist

About The Position

This temporary two-month assignment is responsible for reviewing vehicle buyback cases and accurately identifying and documenting the initial and final defective causal part and/or condition that led to a vehicle’s repurchase by the manufacturer or dealer under lemon laws. The specialist reviews repair records, service orders, and customer communications, enters findings into an internal database, and works with Quality Engineers and internal departments to help identify the causal part or condition.

Requirements

• High school diploma or above.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate documentation and data entry.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Familiarity with automotive repair procedures and diagnostic methods.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including intermediate-level Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in automotive repair and product quality.
• Strong communication, organization, prioritization, and follow-up skills.

Nice To Haves

• Four-year engineering degree.
