About The Position

This temporary, two-month assignment is responsible for reviewing vehicle buyback cases and accurately identifying and documenting the initial and final defective causal part and/or condition that led to a vehicle’s repurchase by the manufacturer or dealer under lemon laws. The role reviews repair records, service orders, and customer communications, then records the causal part or condition in an internal database. The specialist works with Quality Engineers and other internal departments to help identify the cause.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail for precise documentation and data entry.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Familiarity with automotive repair procedures and diagnostic methods.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including intermediate Excel and PowerPoint.
• High school diploma or above.
• Experience in automotive repair and product quality.
• Strong communication, organization, prioritization, and follow-up skills.

Nice To Haves

• A four-year engineering degree is preferred.
