About The Position

Responsible for the efficient, professional handling of all financial transactions conducted within the cage department. The position oversees cash and financial instruments, verifies revenue, trains new employees, and compiles and reports financial information in accordance with organizational and government requirements. The role is full-time in the Bank department and reports to the Cage & Vault Supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Nine to twelve months of cash-handling experience.
• Ability to use a ten-key calculator by touch with a high degree of accuracy and speed.
• Ability to work under stress.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and the public.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to work a flexible shift schedule.
• Initiative, sound judgment, logic, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to obtain a Blackfeet Tribal Gaming license.
• Experience with data entry and data management.
• Excellent Microsoft Office and Internet skills, including the ability to create forms and spreadsheets using tables and formulas.
• Reliability, including good attendance and punctuality; organization, flexibility, and excellent time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• High integrity and ability to maintain confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the flow of cash and financial instruments in accordance with company policy.
• Implement institutional policies, procedures, and practices concerning cash and chip transactions.
• Verify revenue from all outlets and count teams.
• Train new employees.
• Compile and report financial data as required by the organization and government regulations.
• Prepare reports to satisfy tax requirements, IRS regulations, and Title 31.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
