Part time Van Driver - Milwaukee area
About The Position
Part-time driving role supporting live event production across the Milwaukee area. Drivers use their own cargo van or sprinter van to transport event equipment, including LED candles, audio gear, and small staging, between a Milwaukee storage unit and event venues. Most work takes place on Fridays and Saturdays, with ongoing weekly routes available. Pay is a flat rate per run, with loading and unloading included: $165 for local routes under 60 miles round-trip, $285 for mid-range routes of 60–150 miles round-trip, $465 for long-distance routes over 150 miles round-trip, and $525 for extended long-distance routes over 300 miles round-trip. Work is on the road and requires 100% travel.
Requirements
- Own a cargo van or sprinter van; applicants without their own cargo van or similar vehicle will not be considered.
- Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Be comfortable lifting up to approximately 50 pounds.
- Be reliable, punctual, and responsive.
- Be available evenings and weekends.
- Be willing to travel 100%.
Responsibilities
- Pick up equipment from the Milwaukee storage unit.
- Deliver equipment to event venues and return it after events.
- Assist with loading and unloading; team support is provided at venues.
- Handle all equipment safely.
- Communicate timing and updates to the operations team.
