About The Position

Touchmark in the West Hills is Portland’s premier retirement community, enriching residents’ and their families’ lives through exceptional service and quality housing. The community is seeking a part-time Valet Attendant to join its growing team. The position provides an excellent service experience to residents, visitors, family members, and prospective residents through valet parking, scheduled resident transportation, and internal services for departmental events. The wage is $22.00 per hour. The scheduled hours are Saturday and Sunday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with on-call flexibility required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in hospitality.
• Outgoing, warm, and friendly personality.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Provide an annual DMV driving record with favorable results.
• On-call flexibility.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet multiple, sometimes competing, deadlines.
• Professional appearance and excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of driving various vehicles, including those with automatic and standard transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Provide valet parking services for residents, visitors, family members, and prospective residents.
• Provide scheduled transportation for residents.
• Provide internal services for departmental events.
• Perform various scheduled tasks throughout each shift.
• Help maintain a five-star site appearance.
