About The Position

The Valet is responsible for greeting guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing prompt and courteous service. This role involves safely parking and retrieving guest vehicles in designated areas, following established procedures and traffic laws. The Valet will maintain accurate records of parked vehicles, assist guests with luggage, and ensure the valet area is clean and organized. Additionally, the Valet will monitor traffic flow, adhere to safety regulations, communicate effectively with staff, and respond to guest inquiries. A professional appearance and demeanor are expected at all times.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hospitality or related setting.
Proven experience in handling and parking vehicles safely and efficiently.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience adhering to strict safety and security protocols.
Excellent customer service skills with a professional and courteous demeanor.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in various weather conditions.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to maintain a clean and presentable appearance.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including wearing proper attire and using safety equipment.
Communicate effectively with other valet attendants, security personnel, and other staff members.
Respond to guest inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
