About The Position

The Valet provides parking and guest services at a hotel. The role involves safely parking and retrieving vehicles, maintaining accurate vehicle records and secure key storage, communicating parking procedures and fees, and helping guests with questions and concerns. Valets work collaboratively with teammates, keep the parking lot and surrounding areas clean and organized, and help maximize revenue by managing parking spaces and collecting fees accurately. The position also includes reporting maintenance or equipment issues and providing additional assistance, such as carrying bags or giving directions.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Reliable and friendly demeanor, with the ability to create a lasting impression.
Physical ability to move quickly and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Promptly and safely park and retrieve vehicles according to company policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of parked vehicles and securely store keys.
Follow company policies and safety guidelines.
Greet guests warmly and professionally.
Explain parking procedures and fees to guests.
Assist guests with questions or concerns and handle issues calmly and professionally.
Coordinate with teammates to deliver efficient service.
Support teammates during peak periods or when needed.
Provide prompt, courteous customer service and help guests with parking needs.
Keep the parking lot and surrounding areas clean and organized, including clearing debris and trash.
Provide additional assistance as needed, such as carrying bags or giving directions.
Manage parking spaces efficiently and ensure fees are collected accurately.
Promptly report maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions.
