About The Position

The Valet Parking Supervisor helps lead a safe, efficient, and guest-focused parking operation. The role supports staffing and responds to escalated operational needs while encouraging team members to provide exceptional service. The supervisor sets a positive tone, maintains an organized and professional garage, and ensures team members follow service, language, and uniform standards.

Requirements

• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Friendly and outgoing.
• Able to smile during customer interactions.
• Upbeat personality, willingness to go the extra mile, and a strong work ethic.
• Maintain uniform standards while on the job premises.
• Ability to run and move quickly.
• Ability to organize cars efficiently.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to safely operate vehicles and pass a driving test.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residency.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and RMV check.
• Ability to build relationships with customers.
• Organized.
• Clean driving record deemed insurable by VPNE's current insurance provider.

Nice To Haves

• Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure team members and guests are safe at all times.
• Operate vehicles safely when needed to minimize the potential for accidents.
• Oversee tracking of keys and vehicles throughout the garage.
• Ensure team members provide exceptional guest experiences by smiling, greeting, and helping guests as they enter the garage.
• Maintain garage organization.
• Set an upbeat, positive tone for the workplace and team.
• Help team members use approved language choices.
• Communicate the organizational plan to coworkers when the shift is over.
• Set an example by maintaining a sharp appearance and help team members follow uniform guidelines.
• Oversee team members to maintain a professional work area.
• Assist in leading the operation, ensuring staffing, and handling escalated operational needs as necessary.
