About The Position

The Valet Parking Supervisor helps lead the valet parking operation and supports an enthusiastic team in delivering exceptional guest service. The supervisor creates a positive, friendly impression for guests while ensuring safe and efficient service, assisting with staffing, and handling escalated operational needs as necessary. The role also helps maintain an organized garage, professional work areas, and compliance with uniform and communication standards.

Requirements

Proficient in spoken and written English.
Friendly and outgoing, able to smile during customer interactions.
Upbeat personality, willingness to go the extra mile, and strong work ethic.
Maintain uniform standards while on the job premises.
Ability to run and move quickly.
Ability to organize cars efficiently.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to safely operate vehicles and pass a driving test.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license in the state of residency.
Able to pass a criminal background check and RMV check.
Ability to create relationships with customers.
Organized.
Clean driving record deemed insurable by VPNE’s current insurance provider.

Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure team members and guests are safe at all times.
Operate vehicles safely when needed to minimize the potential for accidents.
Oversee the tracking of keys and vehicles throughout the garage.
Ensure team members provide exceptional guest experiences by smiling, greeting, and helping guests as they enter the garage.
Maintain garage organization.
Set an upbeat tone and create a positive environment for team members and customers.
Help team members use approved language choices.
Communicate the organizational plan to coworkers when the shift is over.
Set an example by maintaining a sharp appearance and helping team members follow VPNE’s uniform guidelines.
Oversee team members to maintain a professional work area.
Assist in leading the operation, ensuring staffing, and handling escalated operational needs as necessary.
