About The Position

SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking a Valet Driver at Medical City Plano. The role focuses on safely parking vehicles and providing a seamless, professional experience for customers. The posted schedule is Monday through Friday, with a listed shift of 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 8-hour shifts. The posting lists pay as $15 per hour plus tips and shift differential in the role details, and separately states a salary range of $12.00 per hour plus tips. Requirements

Hold a valid state driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable driving record.
Provide proof of eligibility to work legally in the United States if hired.
Provide accurate information to customers and co-workers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
Be able to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency, and understand instructions, short emails, and memos.
Be able to follow written and verbal instructions and adapt calmly to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.

Nice To Haves

Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift).
Availability to work special shifts if needed, including second or third shift and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, identify ways to solve problems, and communicate proactively with clients.
Inspect each vehicle before parking it and note any findings.
Explain valet rates to customers.
Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices.
Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
Know major local streets, landmarks, and freeways to support customers’ transportation experience.
Arrive on time for scheduled shifts in a clean uniform and remain in full uniform throughout the shift.
Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
