About The Position

SP+, a Metropolis company, is hiring a Valet Driver at Medical City Plano. The role involves safely parking customers’ vehicles, providing a welcoming and seamless customer experience, and responding to requests and concerns. The position is listed at $15 per hour plus tips and shift differential; a separate salary section lists $12.00 per hour plus tips. The described schedule is 5 a.m.–3 p.m., with 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday. Employees may also need to be available for special shifts, including second or third shift and/or weekends.

Requirements

Valid state driver’s license with current address and an acceptable driving record.
Proof of eligibility to work legally in the United States; valid documentation must be provided if hired.
Ability to provide accurate information to customers and coworkers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
Ability to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency, and comprehend instructions, short emails, and memos.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.

Nice To Haves

Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift).

Responsibilities

Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, find solutions to problems, and communicate proactively with clients.
Inspect each vehicle before parking it and note any findings.
Explain valet rates to customers.
Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices.
Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
Know local major streets, landmarks, and freeways to help provide a seamless transportation experience.
Arrive on time for each scheduled shift in a clean uniform and remain in uniform throughout the shift.
Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
