About The Position

SP+ is an artificial intelligence company that uses computer vision to provide checkout-free parking experiences. The company operates a large parking network, with over 23,000 employees at more than 4,000 locations across North America and Europe. The Valet Driver delivers customer service while safely inspecting and parking vehicles, explaining valet rates, following traffic laws, and reporting incidents and hazards. The role also involves providing customers with a seamless transportation experience through knowledge of local streets and landmarks, maintaining a clean uniform, arriving on time, and assisting management with assigned duties.

Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license, current address, and acceptable driving record.
• Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S.; valid documentation must be provided if hired.
• Ability to provide accurate information to customers and coworkers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency, and understand instructions, short emails, and memos.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift).

Responsibilities

• Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, find solutions to problems, and communicate proactively with clients.
• Inspect each vehicle before parking it safely and note all findings.
• Explain valet rates to customers.
• Observe traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
• Know major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area to support a seamless customer transportation experience.
• Arrive on time for each scheduled shift in a clean uniform and remain in complete uniform throughout the shift.
• Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
