About The Position

SP+ is seeking safe Valet Drivers who enjoy interacting with people and provide a welcoming customer experience. The role involves inspecting and safely parking vehicles, explaining valet rates, following traffic laws, and communicating effectively with customers. The scheduled shift is Monday through Friday, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Requirements

Valid state driver’s license, current address, and acceptable driving record.
Proof of eligibility to work legally in the United States; valid documentation must be provided if hired.
Ability to provide accurate information to customers and coworkers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
Ability to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency, and understand instructions, short emails, and memos.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.
Ability to stand and walk regularly, use hands to handle cash and equipment, and occasionally sit, climb, or balance.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission.
Availability to work special shifts if needed, including second or third shifts and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, find solutions to problems, and communicate proactively with clients.
Inspect each vehicle before parking it safely and note any findings.
Explain valet rates to customers.
Observe traffic laws and safe driving practices.
Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
Know the area's major streets, landmarks, and freeways to support customers’ transportation experience.
Arrive on time for scheduled shifts in a clean uniform and remain in complete uniform throughout the shift.
Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
