About The Position

SP+, a Metropolis company, is an artificial intelligence company that uses computer vision to enable checkout-free parking experiences. The Valet Driver safely parks vehicles, provides courteous service to customers, and helps ensure a smooth transportation experience. The role involves inspecting vehicles, explaining valet rates, following safe driving practices, communicating proactively with clients, and reporting safety issues or unusual occurrences. Drivers are expected to arrive on time in a clean uniform and remain in uniform throughout each shift. The position is located in Cleveland, Ohio.

Requirements

• Hold a valid state driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable driving record.
• Provide proof of legal eligibility to work in the United States if hired.
• Provide accurate information to customers and co-workers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
• Be able to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency, and understand instructions, short emails, and memos.
• Be able to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events.
• Be able to stand and walk regularly and use hands to handle cash and equipment; occasionally sit, climb, or balance; and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift).
• Availability to work special shifts if needed, including second or third shift and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, identify solutions to problems, and communicate proactively with clients.
• Inspect each vehicle before parking it and note all findings.
• Explain valet rates to customers.
• Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.
• Know major local streets, landmarks, and freeways to support customers’ transportation experience.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts in a clean uniform and remain in complete uniform throughout the shift.
• Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
