About The Position

Metropolis is an artificial intelligence company that uses computer vision to provide checkout-free parking experiences. It operates a large parking network across North America and Europe and is developing checkout-free experiences for everyday settings.

The Valet/Bell Attendant works in South Beach, Miami Beach, and provides guest service in a fast-paced parking operation. The role involves responding to guest requests, explaining valet procedures and rates, safely inspecting and parking vehicles, and supporting smooth daily operations. The listed pay rate is $12 per hour plus tips.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Valet Attendant is required.
• Valid state driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read, write, and respond professionally to customers and co-workers.
• Provide valid documentation to work legally in the U.S. if hired.
• Follow instructions and remain calm during changes, delays, or unexpected events.
• Regularly stand, walk, and use hands to handle cash and equipment for extended periods.
• Occasionally sit, climb, or balance.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
• Remain alert and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability to work special shifts as needed, including second shift, third shift, and/or weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to drive a manual transmission (stick shift).

Responsibilities

• Resolve guest requests and concerns efficiently, using creative solutions when problems arise.
• Maintain knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and freeways to provide directions.
• Clearly explain valet rates and procedures to customers.
• Inspect each vehicle before parking it and note and report any findings.
• Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Immediately report accidents, safety hazards, and policy violations to management.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work.
• Maintain a clean, complete uniform throughout each shift.
• Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
