About The Position

The Bellman/Valet safely transports hotel guests to and from designated locations while providing excellent customer service. The role involves driving the hotel shuttle, helping guests with luggage, maintaining clean and safe vehicles, and ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs. Other duties include delivering room service orders and packages, collecting laundry and room service trays, calling taxis, maintaining service-call records, setting up sample rooms, and cleaning the lobby. The position offers an opportunity to learn different aspects of the hotel business.

Requirements

Be eligible to work in the United States.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.
Warm, professional demeanor that reflects HVMG’s Culture of Excellence.
A combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

Hotel experience is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Safely transport guests to and from designated locations, including around the premises or local areas by car or motorized cart.
Drive the hotel shuttle and ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
Assist guests with luggage and deliver packages, suitcases, and trunks.
Deliver room service orders.
Pick up articles for laundry and valet service.
Call taxis for guests.
Keep records of calls for service.
Set up sample rooms.
Clean the lobby, including ashtrays, dry mopping, and removing trash.
Clean and vacuum the inside of vans at least once a day.
Assist in collecting room service trays from hallways around the property.
Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the shuttle and other vehicles.
