About The Position

The Guest Service Associate provides attentive, friendly, and efficient hospitality services to guests. The role includes parking and retrieving guest vehicles promptly and safely, assisting with luggage and bell services when needed, and supporting guests during arrival and departure. The position also provides directions and information about facility amenities and local attractions, handles guest inquiries and requested deliveries, and follows procedures for vehicle tickets, keys, claim checks, and payment. The work schedule may vary.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license for the state of application, or within a commutable distance from that state, as applicable.
One month of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
Ability to read and write standard English, comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence, and write simple correspondence.
Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small-group situations to guests, clients, and employees.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic, including operations with three-digit numbers and units of American money.
Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems and rates applicable to elapsed time.
Ability to perform parallel parking.

Nice To Haves

Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients; greet guests promptly and use their last names during interactions.
Welcome guests using the salutation of the day, follow Towne Park phone etiquette, and remain in designated areas when not completing tasks.
Park and retrieve vehicles slowly and cautiously; assist with bell services and luggage storage, and open vehicle and hotel doors for guests.
Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries; provide information about facility outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions.
Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested, and shuttle guests to locations approved by the site.
Explain parking rates and vehicle retrieval procedures; issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before returning keys.
Complete and maintain vehicle ticket information, including key tags, guest folios, vehicle locations, damage surveys, and claim check receipts; record vehicle locations on key tags after parking.
Calculate and collect vehicle revenue when needed.
