About The Position

Crothall Healthcare is hiring a part-time Valet Attendant at Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania. The role provides safe, timely valet services to patients, guests, and visitors, including delivering vehicles and escorting people into and out of vehicles. As the first point of contact for hospital arrivals, the attendant is expected to provide “World Class” valet services. The schedule is part time, with days and hours varying; a flexible schedule is offered. Pay is $16.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

Prior valet or customer service experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Must be able to drive and operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles, including sub-compact, compact, full-size, SUV, van, and golf cart.

Responsibilities

Ensure safe, timely, and accurate delivery of patients’ and guests’ vehicles to their destinations.
Drive vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions.
Use proper body mechanics when lifting and transferring patients or guests to and from vehicles and wheelchairs.
Safely transport patients and medical equipment while ensuring patients and guests are comfortable.
Collect and return wheelchairs to the proper holding areas and disinfect equipment after use.
Respond to emergency activities, such as code calls and disasters.
Perform general clean-up of grounds surrounding valet and parking lots.
Perform other duties as assigned.
