Valet Attendant (Part Time)
About The Position
Crothall Healthcare is hiring a part-time Valet Attendant at Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania. The role provides valet services to patients, guests, and visitors, safely delivering vehicles and escorting clients to and from vehicles. As an initial point of contact for hospital arrivals, the attendant is expected to provide high-quality service. The schedule is part-time, with days and hours varying; flexible scheduling is available. Pay is $16.00–$20.00 per hour. The position requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles, including sub-compact, compact, full-size, SUVs, vans, and golf carts. Prior valet or customer service experience is required. The role also involves assisting with patient transfers, transporting patients and medical equipment, handling wheelchairs, responding to emergencies, and maintaining the surrounding valet and parking areas.

Responsibilities
- Deliver patients’ and guests’ vehicles safely, accurately, and in a timely manner.
- Escort clients to and from vehicles.
- Demonstrate competence driving vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions.
- Use proper body mechanics when lifting and transferring patients or guests to and from vehicles and wheelchairs.
- Safely transport patients and medical equipment while ensuring the comfort of patients and guests.
- Collect and return wheelchairs to designated holding areas and disinfect them after use.
- Respond to emergency activities, such as code calls and disasters.
- Perform general cleanup of the grounds around valet and parking lots.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
