About The Position

Valet Park of America is hiring full-time or part-time Valet Attendants. The role greets and assists customers, parks their vehicles, and serves as a visible representative of the establishment receiving valet services. After parking a vehicle, attendants return to the station ready to assist the next patron. The position is outdoors for the entire shift, and employees are expected to work through hot, cold, and wet weather conditions. Shifts are not canceled because of inclement weather. Pay is listed as a potential $18.78–$25 per hour or more, combining a $16.78 hourly base rate for valet staff with average tips of $4–$8 per hour. Roles that do not involve tips pay $18.78 per hour. During four training shifts, employees do not receive tips but receive a higher pay rate as compensation. Payroll is weekly, with payment by check, direct deposit, or pay card. The employer is seeking someone with flexible scheduling who can work part-time or as needed initially. The preferred availability is between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and between 7:45 AM and 4:00 PM on weekends. Employees must be available for weekends and holidays when necessary. All employees undergo a criminal records check and a 30-day trial period; employees who do not meet management’s expectations during that period may be terminated without cause.

Requirements

Be able to drive a standard-transmission vehicle to management’s satisfaction.
Have personal transportation and driving experience.
Have customer service experience.
Be over 18 years of age.
Hold a valid Class D driver’s license for at least one year before applying and maintain it in good standing throughout employment.
Provide a driving record at application; it must be approved for the applicant to be considered.
Have a neat appearance and a good attitude.
Communicate effectively in English with customers and coworkers.
Undergo a criminal records check.
Be available to work weekends and holidays when necessary.
