About The Position

TouchPoint Support Services is hiring a part-time Valet Attendant at Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola in Pensacola, Florida. The role provides valet services to patients, guests, and visitors by safely delivering vehicles and assisting people in and out of vehicles. As the first point of contact for hospital arrivals, the attendant is expected to provide “World Class” valet service and contribute to a welcoming, supportive environment.

Schedules are part time, with shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, or 10:00 am to 6:00 pm; days may vary. More schedule details are provided during the interview. The pay range is $15.00 to $15.85 per hour. Training and cross-training are available.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to drive and operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles, including sub-compact, compact, full-size, SUV, van, and golf cart vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patients’ and guests’ vehicles safely, accurately, and in a timely manner.
• Drive vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Use proper body mechanics when lifting and transferring patients or guests to and from vehicles and wheelchairs.
• Transport patients and medical equipment safely while ensuring patients and guests are comfortable.
• Collect and return wheelchairs to the appropriate holding areas and disinfect equipment after use.
• Respond to emergency activities, such as code calls and disasters.
• Clean up grounds surrounding valet and parking areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
