Valet Attendant
About The Position
The Valet Attendant makes an exceptional impression on every guest by engaging with guests and customers in a positive, friendly manner and providing the best experience possible while delivering safe and efficient service. The role includes safely operating and organizing vehicles, keeping track of keys and vehicles throughout the garage, maintaining an organized operation, and helping facilitate the transition at the end of a shift. Attendants are expected to maintain a positive environment for customers and teammates, communicate professionally using VPNE-approved language, maintain a neat appearance and uniform standards, complete cleaning duties as assigned, and adhere to VPNE’s attendance policy.
Requirements
- Entry-level experience; no prior years of experience specified.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Friendly and outgoing, with an upbeat personality and willingness to go the extra mile.
- Able to smile during customer interactions and maintain a strong work ethic.
- Maintain uniform standards while on the job premises.
- Able to run and move quickly.
- Able to organize cars efficiently.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to safely operate vehicles and pass a driving test.
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Possess a valid driver’s license in the state of residency.
- Able to pass a criminal background check and RMV check.
- Able to create relationships with customers and stay organized.
- Have a clean driving record deemed insurable by VPNE’s current insurance provider.
